"1911 Cover from Kedah to Southern India on reversed affixed with postage stamp of Federated Malay States 1c. Block of 4 tied by Siamese bilingual KEDAH (PDR-03G) cds dated 10.1.1911. On reverse bearing PENANG transit cds dated 10 JA 1911, NEGAPATAN transit cds dated 15 JA 11, and KARAIKUDI(Tamilnado) arrival cds dated 17JA 11. very rare. Fine. F.(1) Note: Kedah was transferred to the British by the Anglo-Siamese Treaty of 1909 henceSiamese Kedah post office was closed in March 1909. Hence this Siamese Kedah postmark was still in used by the British controled post office while waiting for new arrival of new postmark."
