"1950-53 Lot of 6 covers affixed only King Rama IX 1st Definitive Series included 1. 1950 AV2 registered airmail cover from Bangkok to Sweden at rate of 14b. tied by Pomprab cds dated 13 August 1950; 2. 1950 registered cover from Ranong to U.S.A. at rate of 9.20b. tied by RANONG cds dated 28 August 1950; and 3. 1951-53 lot of 4 diplomat purse airmail covers from Thailand to U.S.A. at rate of 5b., 50st., 3b., and 1b. respectively, all tied by WASHINGTON D.C. machine cancellation dated Dec 10 1951, DEC 27 19521, AUG 26, 1952, & JAN 2 1953 respectively. On obverse of former cover bearing rubberstamp in violet reading “This article originally mailed in country indicated by postage”. Good for exhibit. Inspection suggested. Fine. F.(6) "
